Dear Verywell readers,

Hope you had as restful a weekend as possible. If you are staying at home, we know that some days, whether it's a weekend or week day, it can be hard to stick to a routine. However, research shows that having more structure can be helpful for mental health. When life is uncertain, here are some ways to focus on the things you can control.

In my family, one aspect of our routine that is very helpful is a pretty small thing - eating meals around the same time every day. It helps us feel organized and in control and reminds us to set aside time from work to eat together. We'd love to hear about the most important part of your routine, too. Share with us here.

Another way to feel better is helping others. We asked our psychotherapist to share 10 ways you can make a difference in others lives during this time, even remotely and without any money.

Finally, as always, let us know if there's any content you'd like to see more or less of from us.

Stay safe,
