Why We Pop Pimples (Even When We Know We Shouldn't)
I am a reformed (mostly) pimple-popper.  Even so, one still gets the better of my here and there. 

What really helps me -- a warm compress on any whitehead that is begging for a squeeze.  Those red-but-not-quite-ready blemishes get an ice down instead.  It helps the blemish without resorting to popping.
