No, it's not just acne.  Those breakouts can affect your whole outlook.  Only someone who has had acne can fully understand this, I think.  I know I never really understood until it was my face uncontrollably breaking out.

So, I had to really make a point to nurture my self-esteem.  Especially on those days when I was feeling super low.
