From Angela Palmer, your Guide to Acne

I wish I would have used sunscreen when I was younger.  Growing up here in central California, where the sun shines 95% of the year, it was normal for me to be relatively tanned no matter what the season.

But that sun-kissed look eventually turns to not-so-cute damaged skin, as I'm finding out as I age.

It's never to early (or too late) to protect your skin from the sun.  Here are some of my favorite sunscreening products for great sun protection without aggravating acne.

Until next week,

Angela

Review: Neutrogena Clear Face Break-Out Free Liquid Lotion Sunscreen with SPF 30
Finally, a sunscreen made just for acne-prone skin!  And it's surprisingly good.

Review: Dermasil Oil Control Moisturizer with SPF 30
For day-to-day sun protection, I don't need a separate sunscreen.  A one-step moisturizer/sunscreen combo gets the job done nicely.  Especially this light, gentle and inexpensive option from Dermasil.

Review: Murad Anti-Aging Moisturizer SPF 20 for Blemish Prone Skin
If luxury brands are more your style, you might be happy with this product by Murad.  It's feather-light and fast-absorbing.

Do You Need a Sunscreen?
Maybe you're not convinced you even need sun protection.  This article will help you decide.
